SUMMER SPARKLE: OUR TOP PROSECCOS FOR THE SEASON

Britain’s love affair with prosecco continues and shows no sign of fizzing out. So because summer is the perfect time for a sip of sparkling, we’re putting the spotlight on three of our most popular proseccos.
Abbazia Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. 75cl £14.99 *Superiore* denotes the top tier of prosecco from the Valdobbiadene region, where wine has been produced for more than 1,000 years. Produced in the extra-dry style, this wine has aromas of apple and peach, crisp and fresh with fruity flavours and fine persistent bubbles. It’s ideal as an aperitif or with salads, fish, seafood, pizza and light pasta dishes.
San Leo Prosecco 75cl £11.99 This is our best-selling prosecco. Pale straw-yellow in colour with a fine mousse and delicate bubbles, it’s very fruity on the nose with hints of wisteria flowers and green apples. Well-balanced on the palate, with good acidity that enhances its aromatic notes. It’s ideal for everyday celebrations – just add fresh peach juice for a bellini cocktail. Suitable for vegetarians.
Terra Organica Prosecco 75cl £13.99 Made from organic grapes planted on the hills around Treviso in northern Italy. Careful farming yields grapes of intense quality and flavour, which make this prosecco exceptionally fruity. It has a pale lemon-yellow colour with delicate aromas of peach and green apples, fresh, light and zesty flavours on the palate and mouth-tingling, soft bubbles.
