We did a vigorous jig around the office last week after the consumer champions at Which? magazine released their customer survey of Britain’s best supermarkets.
Well, we only went and came first, didn’t we! For the third year running, this annual reader survey put us as the online top dogs – this time with a score of 83%. We just pipped our good friends at Waitrose, and left the likes of Tesco and Asda far behind.
The independent Which? panel of over 500 shoppers praised us for product quality, order accuracy and delivery. They also increased last year’s mark for price, noting the expansion of our popular Tesco Price Match on branded goods. Most excitingly for us, the arrival of over 200 items in our new Ocado range of groceries earned praise for both breadth and value.
To be scored so highly in a survey by such an important, well-respected organisation really is something special – a great recognition for all the hard work and innovation it takes to make sure you get the service you deserve.
Oh, and rest assured, our office jig lasted all of about five minutes (and no one sprained an ankle) before it was back to the business of trying to build on our success for 2011. There’s even more in store for this year!
